Privacy Policy

Dividend101 is operated by Gemini Fintech LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Account details. Your email address and a password. We store only a salted hash of your password, never the password itself.

Your data in the app. The stocks on your watchlist, the number of shares you enter, and your alert settings. Share counts are used only to calculate your income projections.

Payment information. If you subscribe to Premium, Stripe collects and processes your payment details. We receive only a customer reference, your subscription status and its renewal date. We never see or store your full card number.

Technical data. Our servers and hosting provider log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and requests made, which we use to keep the Service secure and working, including limiting repeated sign-in attempts.

To provide the Service (your watchlist, calendar, income projections and reminders), including a weekly summary email of your ex-dividend dates and payments (you can switch it off in Settings or with the unsubscribe link in each email), to manage your account and subscription, to protect against abuse, and to fix and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the Service to work, and if you choose “keep me signed in” it lasts longer, otherwise it ends when you close your browser. If you accept, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure which pages are visited and how people reach the site. We turn off its advertising features and never send it your email, watchlist or account details, and it does not record the private links in our emails. You can decline, or change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of our pages. If you arrive through a friend's referral link, we also keep a small cookie for up to 30 days that remembers the referral code so it can be applied if you sign up. We do not use advertising cookies.

Only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, third-party market-data providers (which receive stock symbols, not your personal details) and, only if you accept analytics cookies, Google (Analytics). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

We keep your account data while your account is open. To stop the free trial being claimed repeatedly, we keep a one-way hash of your email address (not the address itself) after you delete your account. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account) or ask us to, we delete your personal data and cancel any subscription, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records held by Stripe.

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and limits on repeated sign-in attempts. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please choose a strong, unique password.

You can delete your account yourself in Settings, or ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, at any time. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, such as objecting to or restricting some processing. Questions? Email help@dividend101.com.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
