Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Dividend101 (the “Service”), operated by Gemini Fintech LLC. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Dividend101 helps you follow ex-dividend and payment dates, see estimated dividend income, and get reminders for the stocks you own or watch. Payment dates and income figures are estimates.

Everything in the Service is for information only. It is not investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Dividend dates, amounts, prices, yields and safety ratings come from third-party sources and our own calculations. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and companies can change or cancel dividends at any time. Check important details with the company or your broker, and make your own decisions.

The dividend dates, amounts, prices, yields, exchange rates, safety ratings and other market information in the Service come from third-party data providers and from our own calculations. It is provided for your personal, non-commercial information only.

Market data can be delayed (prices are typically the most recent close or a delayed quote, not live), incomplete, out of date or wrong. Payment dates that have not been announced are estimates based on each stock's usual timing, and companies can change, delay or cancel a dividend at any time. Amounts in other currencies are converted to US dollars at approximate exchange rates and are for guidance only. Sometimes data for a stock is temporarily unavailable, and we may change data providers or the way figures are calculated without notice.

The data comes from third parties and remains subject to their rights and terms. You may not copy, scrape, resell, republish or build a database or product from it, or use automated tools to collect it in bulk. Do not rely on the Service for trading or other time-sensitive decisions, and always confirm details with the company or your broker before acting.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

The Free plan lets you follow up to 3 stocks. Premium costs $3.99 per month or $39.99 per year (USD) and adds an unlimited watchlist, the dividend calendar and ex-dividend alerts. Subscriptions bought in our iPhone app are billed and managed by Apple under its terms.

Free trial. While the offer lasts, a new account that confirms its email address can get 30 days of Premium free, with no card required. The offer is limited to the first 300 sign-ups, allows one trial per person, and we may change or end it at any time. Nothing is charged when the trial ends. Your account moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe, and any stocks beyond the 3 allowed on the Free plan are hidden, not deleted, until you subscribe.

Referrals. You can invite friends with your personal referral link. A friend who joins through it and confirms their email gets 14 extra trial days. You earn one free month (as a credit on your next bill if you subscribe, otherwise 30 days of Premium) when that friend makes their first paid payment, up to 12 free months per person. Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts and abuse do not qualify, and we may withhold or reverse rewards and change or end the program at any time.

Premium renews automatically every month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in the app. Your Premium access then continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded. We may change prices with advance notice; a change applies from your next renewal.

Do not misuse the Service. In particular, do not try to break, overload or probe it; use automated tools to copy its data in bulk; resell or redistribute its data; or use it in a way that breaks the law or others’ rights.

We work to keep the Service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, including features of the Free and Premium plans.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any investment decisions or losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your account yourself in Settings. Deleting a Premium account cancels the subscription immediately; the current billing period is not refunded except where the law requires it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
